The shed is the last building on the wharf, past the general store and the net lofts. Park behind the store and walk the last two minutes over the water.

Finding the Landing
Waxwing Landing sits on the west shore of Sorrel Lake, forty minutes of good lake road from the highway junction. Come down the hill past the orchard bench, turn left at the general store, and run out of road: that is us, 4 Wharf Road. The drive along the water is half the meal; the larches in October are the other half.
By water: the public moorage is the wharf's north face, first come. By the east-shore ferry: last sailing back is 10:40 p.m., and the kitchen respects it like a tide table.
